Business continuity

Your plant keeps running — even if we don't.

Working with a small team has its advantages, but it comes with a fair question: what happens to your plant if we can't support it any more? We take that question seriously.

On qualifying engagements we offer source-code escrow through an independent third-party agent. This means that a competent controls team can pick the system up and keep it running if the release conditions are ever triggered.

Release is triggered by clearly-defined conditions written into the contract.

What's deposited

The material to keep the system running.

  • PLC & HMI code
  • Database schemas, stored procedures etc.
  • Deployment and site-specific configuration notes
  • Release conditions, signed into the contract

Escrow is one part of a broader continuity plan that also includes documented handover and a defined support arrangement. We're happy to walk through the details in a scoping conversation.

Applied R&D

A Canadian SME with a research direction.

GA Engineering Inc. is a Canadian-incorporated small enterprise. Alongside our delivery work, we are exploring how AI and machine-learning techniques can help hot mix asphalt plants run more efficiently — particularly around burner control, mix recipe queue planning, and energy use.

If you are a producer, OEM, researcher, or program officer focused on advancing industrial AI/ML applications within heavy industry, we would welcome the opportunity to connect and discuss potential synergies.

Why this matters to clients

  • Lower fuel use per ton of mix produced
  • Shorter mix-change downtime between recipes
  • Predictive models for improved efficiency
  • Earlier detection of mechanical issues
  • Productivity and sustainability gains that stay in Canada
